Norway has moved into the luxury hotel W Dallas in preparation for the round of 16 match against Ivory Coast. After staying at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro for the first three and a half weeks of the World Cup, it's now Fifa that has taken over the arrangements for the team's accommodation in the knockout stage.

What's happening in Dallas?

Norway has ended up staying in the heart of Dallas, the ninth largest city in the USA. The hotel is located in the center of Dallas, and has previously hosted the Croatian national team before their match against England in the group stage earlier in the World Cup.

How is Norway handling the heat?

Temperatures are expected to reach up to 37 degrees Celsius on the day of the match, which will be a hot training day for the Norwegian team. The match is scheduled to take place in the middle of the day on Tuesday, but since the Dallas Stadium is equipped with both a roof and air conditioning, the heat should not be a problem for Norway.

Norway's next match

Norway faces Ivory Coast on Tuesday. Ståle Solbakken's team has had a turbulent World Cup campaign so far, with a win over Senegal and a loss to France. | Date | Opponent | Result | | --- | --- | --- | | 2026-03-27 | Netherlands | 1-2 |
