Norway will face Brazil in the World Cup round of 16 on Sunday. The city of Oslo is working to set up a large-scale World Cup viewing at Rådhusplassen.
What's happening at Rådhusplassen?
Rådhusplassen will be open to all, and it will be a big party. Cultural councilor Mehmet Kaan Inan promises «a really good atmosphere» when the game is shown on the big screen.
How will it be arranged?
The event is being carried out in collaboration with SpareBank 1 Østlandet, which is contributing with funds. There will be two screens, but no benches or tables will be set up.
What does the national team coach say?
National team coach Ståle Solbakken was impressed by the turnout when Norway secured the World Cup spot in November. – If it's like you say that there will be so many, then it's absolutely fantastic, said Solbakken.
